Preparation

1. When made specifically as a treatment, it should be simply made by adding one tablespoon of Talbeenah to 1 cup of water, on low heat, and stirred for 15 minutes, with a teaspoon or two of honey.

2. If not specifically for treatment, then a nice porridge could be made of it in the following way:

Braise 1 to 2 tblspns of Talbeenah in a little ghee. Add about 1 to 1½ cups of milk, and ˝ cup of water. Stir on low heat till it boils and thickens. Add ground elachi, ground almonds, and some Sukkari Rutab or pure honey to sweeten.

3. Once made with water, it may be added to a broth and made into a soup. This was done by Sayyidah Aa`isah Radiallahu Anha
