The Best Women

Once Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) asked: “What is best for women.” No one was able to proffer an answer. Hadhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu) went to his wife, Hadhrat Faatimah (Radhiyallahu anha) and posed the same question. This illustrious Daughter of our Nabi (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam), the Queen of Jannat, responded:

“No man should see her, and she should see no man.”

On hearing this grand response, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) commented: “Faatimah is a portion of me.”

Advise for women

In the Qur'an Majid In Surah Al-Ahzab, Allah Ta’ala addresses the wives of Prophet Muhammad صَلى اللهُ عَليهِ وَ سَلم with specific commands to guard their chastity: وَقَرْنَفِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَى وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرً "And, remain inside your homes and do not make a display like the exhibition of the times of jaahiliyyah; and establish Salaah (prayer), and give regular charity, and obey Allah Ta’ala and His Messenger صَلى اللهُ عَليهِ وَ سَل for Allah Ta’ala only wants to remove from you all that might be loathsome, O you members of the [Prophet's صَلى اللهُ عَليهِ وَ سَلم ] household, and to purify you to utmost purity.” [33:33]
